On 14 September 2013 the Wiesbaden Vikings beat the Ludwigshafen Scorpions 4:3 to win the DPL II inline championship. The victory capped a remarkable turn-around for the Vikings, who had taken last place several years in a row in the DPL inline league. The victory was largely due to the outstanding efforts of goaltender Kyle Houtz, who was named Top Goalie. Luke Rose was named MVP. GVG!
