On May 10, 2014, the Vikings kicked off the inline season with a 5-3 victory over the Mannheim Blue Devils in the DPL II inline league.  The Vikings are coming off of their first DPL championship last summer and are looking to repeat their success with a fresh line-up that includes new additions Matt Flaherty, Steve Zimmerman, Mckenna Duffy, Marcel Stetter, Tim Liebisch and Sascha Lichtnau in goal, among others.  The DPL inline regular season runs until the end of August then enters a play off.  Games are Saturdays at Bob’s Corner at Friedrichspark and at the training rink at SAP Arena in Mannheim.

In addition to the DPL inline league, the Vikings have entered an official team in the inaugural season of the HRIV Regionalliga Sud.  The Vikings join the Herborn Crocodiles, Mainprimaten Frankfurt, Langen White Wolves, and Taunus Wild Hogs as the league’s first members.  Games are held tournament style on Sundays throughout the summer.
