This time the Vikings were fully loaded and had two complete lines which proved to make the difference in the second half: After falling behind 0-1 (again) in the first 5 minutes the Vikings managed to even the score midway through the first period and scored the go-ahead-goal just before the break. This was the turning point in the game as the White Wolves – who had already played one game earlier that day – were not able to defend against increasing pressure from the Vikings in the second half. Patick Zell had a stellar game with six goals, Steve Zimmerman added one goal and three assists.
